Vardenafil (Levitra®) is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction. Vardenafil has a short half life compared to other PDE5 inhibitors (Viagra®, Cialis®).
- Used to treat erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis
- Typical dosing is 10 mg to 20 mg as a single dose taken ~1 hour before sexual activity; maximum dose is 20 mg/day
- Can be taken with or without food
- May cause dizziness and low blood pressure when taken with alcohol

Vardenafil Side Effects
Vardenafil potential Side Effects: redness or flushing, low blood pressure, hearing loss, upset stomach, diarrhea, nasal congestion, back pain, and rarely an erection lasting longer than 4 hours. Vision changes may also occur such as light sensitivity and trouble distinguishing blue and green colors.
