Retin-A® cream (tretinoin) is a prescription topical medication in the retinoid class, commonly prescribed for the treatment of acne. It works by increasing skin cell turnover, which helps prevent clogged pores, reduce the formation of new acne lesions, and improve overall skin texture. How to Use

- Gently cleanse the skin and allow it to dry completely before applying a thin layer of cream to affected areas.
- Avoid applying near the eyes, mouth, or corners of the nose unless directed.
- Use only the amount prescribed; applying more does not speed results and may increase irritation.
- Noticeable improvement often takes several weeks to months of regular use.
Important Notes and Warnings
- Common side effects include redness, dryness, peeling, burning, or stinging where the cream is applied.
- Skin treated with Retin-A is more sensitive to sunlight and other skin products; daily sunscreen use and protective clothing are strongly recommended.
