ProAir RespiClick Medication Description
ProAir RespiClick (albuterol sulfate) is a prescription inhaler designed to prevent and relieve airway constriction in people with exercise-induced bronchospasm (EIB) and to provide rapid relief from intermittent asthma symptoms. As a short-acting beta-agonist (SABA), it is designed to work within minutes by relaxing airway muscles, allowing for easier breathing and improved exercise tolerance. This breath-actuated, dry powder inhaler automatically delivers a dose when inhaled properly, making it simple and convenient to use for most people.
For individuals with exercise-induced asthma, ProAir RespiClick can be taken before physical activity to help prevent symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness. Its fast-acting relief also makes it an option for on-demand use when unexpected breathing difficulties occur.
