Estradiol (estrogen) is a female hormone used to help alleviate symptoms of menopause, including vaginal dryness, burning, and painful intercourse. Estradiol vaginal cream is the preferred form of estrogen when only experiencing vaginal symptoms due to the decreased risk of side effects.
- Used to help reduce symptoms of menopause, such as vaginal dryness, burning, and painful intercourse
- Vaginal cream is a topical formulation which may result in decreased risk of side effects from estrogen
- Must be 60 years of age or younger or within 10 years of menopause
- Cream comes in an applicator which is inserted vaginally once daily for 2 weeks, then continued one to three times weekly

- Each tube contains 42.5 grams of cream
