It works by inhibiting the growth of fungus, restoring healthier nail appearance over time.
This treatment is often preferred for patients who cannot take oral antifungal medications due to liver concerns or other medical conditions.
How to Use:
Under the discretion of a provider, this medication is typically applied once daily to the affected nail(s), surrounding skin, and under the nail edge if possible
Every 7 days, remove the lacquer with alcohol and trim the nail
Application is repeated until fungal infection clears or up to 48 weeks
Additional Notes:
Perform weekly nail trimming to improve efficacy
Avoid nail polish or other cosmetic nail products during treatment
Keep nails clean and dry to minimize fungal growth
For optimal results, use consistently as directed and maintain proper nail hygiene throughout the treatment period.
