am 18 years or older
have not had a hypersensitivity reaction to atomoxetine or any component of the formulation
understand atomoxetine increases the risk of suicidal thought and behaviors in pediatric and young adults
do not take a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid, phenelzine, tranylcypromine, or selegiline currently or within the past 14 days
do not have narrow angle glaucoma
do not have a history or current pheochromocytoma
do not have severe heart or blood vessel disorders causing increases in blood pressure and rapid heart rate
am not receiving linezolid, intravenous methylene blue, or pimozide
do not have a history of liver (hepatic) or kidney (renal) impairment
understand that atomoxetine may cause aggressive behavior, psychosis or mania, cardiac events in patients with preexisting heart conditions, effect on growth, liver injury, prolonged QT interval, and thoughts of suicide
am not pregnant or breastfeeding
have already tried the initial dose (atomoxetine 40 mg) or have been previously prescribed atomoxetine 60 mg if selecting atomoxetine 60 mg

How to Use:

Atomoxetine is taken by mouth, typically once daily. The dose may be adjusted gradually up to a maximum of 100 mg per day, depending on individual response and tolerability as determined by a healthcare provider.

Capsules must be swallowed whole — do not crush, chew, or open

Important: The contents of the capsule can irritate the eyes or skin. If a capsule breaks, avoid contact and wash exposed areas with water.
