Ozempic is used to aid in weight loss when used in combination with diet and exercise. Ozempic is injected under the skin once weekly and may be increased based on clinical response and tolerance. Follow package instructions upon receiving the product. 

  • A once weekly semaglutide injection used off-label for weight loss in combination with diet and exercise
  • Dosing begins at 0.25 mg once weekly for 4 weeks then increased to 0.5 mg weekly
  • Dose titration can be delayed based on tolerance or further increased to a max of 2 mg weekly as needed
  • Injected at least 30 minutes before the first meal, beverage, and other medications
  • Must be stored at refrigerated temperatures (2°C to 8°C) or at room temperature for up to 56 days (59°F to 86°F)
  • 1 injectable pen = 4 doses or 30 day supply
