Ozempic® is used to aid in weight loss when used in combination with diet and exercise. Ozempic® is injected under the skin once weekly and may be increased based on clinical response and tolerance. Follow package instructions upon receiving the product. 

  • A once weekly semaglutide injection used off-label for weight loss in combination with diet and exercise
  • Dosing begins at 0.25 mg once weekly for 4 weeks then increased to 0.5 mg weekly
  • Dose titration can be delayed based on tolerance or further increased to a max of 2 mg weekly as needed
  • Injected at least 30 minutes before the first meal, beverage, and other medications
  • Must be stored at refrigerated temperatures (2°C to 8°C) or at room temperature for up to 56 days (59°F to 86°F)
  • 1 injectable pen = 4 doses or 30 day supply
