Norethindrone is a progesterone hormone used to prevent pregnancy in women of childbearing age. It the preferred oral contraceptive in women experiencing migraine with aura or who cannot take estrogen. It must be taken at the same time daily to receive maximal benefit.

Medroxyprogesterone Prefilled Syringe injection is a long-acting form of the hormone progesterone used primarily for birth control and to treat certain menstrual and gynecological conditions. It works by preventing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to block sperm, and altering the uterine lining to prevent implantation. Administered as an intramuscular injection, it provides contraceptive protection for up to three months and is also used to manage endometriosis and abnormal uterine bleeding.

Blisovi Fe 1/20 is a combination oral contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy. It contains two hormones, norethindrone (a progestin) and ethinyl estradiol (an estrogen), that work together to stop ovulation, change cervical mucus, and alter the uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach an egg and for an egg to implant. The pack also includes iron (ferrous fumarate) tablets to help maintain iron levels during the placebo week.
