Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) medication indicated for pain or inflammation associated with arthritis, migraine, and menstruation. Diclofenac delayed release tablets are dosed twice a day.

  • Diclofenac is used for pain and inflammation associated with arthritis (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis), painful menstruation and migraines
  • Typically taken as 1 tablet by mouth twice a day (every 12 hours)
  • When taken for painful periods, begin at menses onset or 1 to 2 days prior to onset for severe symptoms
  • Take with food or milk to minimize stomach upset

  • Diclofenac Delayed Release Tablets Side Effects

    Diclofenac side effects may include constipation, diarrhea, stomach pain, vomiting, gas, heartburn, dizziness or headache, and flu-like symptoms. 

     

    Severe side effects may include bleeding, high blood pressure, shortness of breath, chest pain, kidney problems, high potassium levels, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and feeling very tired/weak.
