Taneia Surles

Taneia Surles, MPH, is a writer, editor, and content strategist with a background in public health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Master of Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Before her writing career, she worked in the public health field as a community health coordinator and administrative community health worker. She has written for publications like AARP, Business Insider, Breastcancer.org, Everyday Health, Healthline, Newsweek, and USA Today. She is also an Associate Member of the Association of Health Care Journalists (ACHJ).
