This month, we crossed a major milestone, together: TelyRx has officially filled over one million prescriptions nationwide.
That’s one million times someone bypassed appointment hassles, skipped a pharmacy line, avoided insurance complications, and chose a simpler path to the medications they depend on, delivered straight to their door. This level of impact does not happen by accident.
I’ve spent two decades building and scaling global tech companies across 27 markets, and through it all I’ve seen one truth bear out time and again: the organizations that succeed are those that listen to the people they serve. Those that don’t inevitably fail.
We live in an era where technology has streamlined almost every aspect of our lives, and yet, the healthcare industry remains woefully behind the needs of those who rely on it. When I stepped into the role of CEO at TelyRx, I did so with one overarching mission: to solve a very real, very frustrating gap in everyday care.
The People Behind the Numbers
According to a report issued by the U.S. Census Bureau, more than 27 million Americans were uninsured at some point in 2024. With no insurance company to bill, the full cost of healthcare lands squarely on the patient, both the doctor’s visit fee and the cost of any medications they’ve been prescribed. And unfortunately, a lack of insurance coverage is only half the problem patients face.
Even those who have insurance frequently skip or delay care when scheduling difficulties and appointment wait times get in the way. A 2023 national survey conducted by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners found that more than 40% of those surveyed reported unreasonably long appointment waits for care, and nearly half of them gave up trying to get an appointment altogether.
This gap in healthcare impacts millions of people in very personal, tangible ways: the patient who can’t get a timely appointment and must ration medication doses in the meantime. The patient who has to burn PTO for an in-person appointment to renew a routine prescription. The patient who has no idea what a medication will cost until they’re standing at the pharmacy counter. These are not edge cases. This is the new normal.
Reliability, Not Revolution

When it comes to their health, most people aren’t looking for a revolution. They want healthcare they can consistently depend on, that fits naturally into their everyday lives, and that delivers speed, transparency, and convenience.
TelyRx is guided by a foundational promise: to provide a radically simpler way for patients to get the healthcare they need, free from the constraints of wait times and workarounds.
And as of June 2026, we’ve kept that promise over one million times, proving that when unnecessary barriers are removed, it’s actually quite easy for patients to get the everyday care they deserve. We are leading the future of healthcare with a system that revolves around the patient, not the other way around.
A Million Ordinary Moments
Behind every prescription filled by our licensed pharmacies is a real person whose life was made just a little bit easier.
The patient who lives two hours from her doctor and no longer has to drive half a day for a routine refill. The traveler who falls ill far from home and can now access the medication he needs without a trip to urgent care or a pharmacy scramble in an unfamiliar city. The skeptic who chooses to trust an online platform with her medication needs, and is pleasantly surprised to receive personalized support from licensed pharmacists, answers from a live customer service team, and delivery updates at every step, so she always knows where her package is.
But the scenario that I’m most proud of is arguably the dullest: the patients who quietly receive their medication refills on time, month after month. None of it is dramatic, and that’s the point: the surest sign something is working is when people stop noticing it.
To us, the milestone of one million prescriptions filled means that one million times, patients experienced direct, straightforward access to the care they depend on. To every one of you who demanded better and trusted us with something as personal as your health: thank you. The milestone is yours.
