Timolol eye drops are a prescription beta-blocker medication used to lower intraocular pressure in conditions such as glaucoma and ocular hypertension. By blocking beta-adrenergic receptors in the eye, timolol decreases the production of aqueous humor, the fluid inside the eye, which helps reduce eye pressure and lowers the risk of optic nerve damage.

Usage Instructions:
Use exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider, typically once or twice daily
Wash hands before applying and avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye
Tilt your head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid, and instill the prescribed number of drops
Close your eyes for 1–2 minutes after application and gently press the inner corner of the eye to reduce systemic absorption
If using other eye medications, wait at least 5 minutes between different eye drops
