Ciprofloxacin/Dexamethasone otic solution is a prescription ear drop used to treat acute outer ear infections (otitis externa), commonly known as swimmer’s ear. This condition typically involves inflammation and bacterial infection of the ear canal, causing pain, swelling, and discharge
This dual-action medication contains Ciprofloxacin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic that kills bacteria and Dexamethasone, a corticosteroid that reduces swelling and discomfort.

How to Use:
Warm the bottle in your hands for 1 to 2 minutes
Shake well immediately before each use
Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected ear
Use exactly as directed, typically twice daily for 7 days
Warnings:
For ear use only — do not use in the eyes or take by mouth
Not for use in patients with a perforated eardrum unless specifically directed
Indicated for acute infections only (1 episode within 6 months)
Do not allow the dropper tip to touch any surface to prevent contamination
Common side effects may include:
Ear discomfort, pain, or itching
A feeling of fullness in the ear
Unusual taste
Mild irritation after use
Serious side effects are less common but may include:
