Ciclopirox gel is used to treat certain fungal skin infections such as ringworm (tinea corporis) and athlete’s foot (tinea pedis) between the toes. These fungal infections can be contagious. This medication is also used to treat a scalp condition called seborrheic dermatitis. Ciclopirox is an antifungal medication that works by stopping the growth of fungus.

- Clean and dry the area to be treated
- Apply a thin layer on and around the affected area and gently rub into the skin or skip
- Wash your hands before and after using unless the area being treated includes the hands
