Revolution is a monthly topical prescription medication for cats that contains selamectin. It is used to help prevent heartworm disease and treat or control certain parasites such as fleas, ear mites, roundworms, or hookworms depending on the labeled use.
How to Use:
Apply Revolution to the skin exactly as directed by your veterinarian, usually once monthly. Part the hair and apply the full dose to the skin at the recommended site. Prevent licking while the medication is wet.
Warnings & Precautions:
Use only for the species, age, and weight range directed by your veterinarian. Tell your veterinarian about illness, pregnancy, nursing, other medications, or missed parasite prevention doses. Contact your veterinarian if skin irritation, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, tremors, or weakness occurs.
Revolution side effects may include mild skin irritation, redness, or temporary hair loss at the application site. Some pets may experience lethargy, vomiting, or drooling shortly after application. In rare instances, cats may develop hypersalivation or behavioral changes. Although uncommon, allergic or hypersensitivity reactions can occur, especially in sensitive individuals.
