Estradiol Patches (Twice Weekly)

Estradiol patches are a form of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) used to treat symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness. They deliver a steady dose of estradiol, a form of estrogen, through the skin and into the bloodstream. This helps to restore estrogen levels that naturally decline during menopause. Estradiol patches may also be used to prevent bone loss (osteoporosis) in postmenopausal women. The patch is typically applied to the lower abdomen or buttocks and replaced according to a prescribed schedule.
